Sometimes legal stuff isn’t boring. Like a recent class action lawsuit against a women’s clothing manufacturer. The lawyer who won the settlement was going to get a cool $125,000 while the class members were just going to get lousy $10 gift cards to the same retailer. But then the judge decided that if gift cards were good enough for the class members, they were good enough for the lawyer. So now the lawyer has 12,500 gift cards to a women’s clothing retailer. Good one, judge.
